Full Armour Training

Buhurt at its best! This more advanced training is available to all of our members and forms the backbone of the teams training. This is how we prepare and train fighters to enter the list for competition. A Family Forged in Steel.

This form of training is physically demanding and obviously by its very nature has an increased level of risk. However it differs very little from other full contact combat sports.

We do allow non-members to get in the kit and try it out however full contact sparing is reserved for members who have had the requisite level of training, this is to reduce safety risks.

We want to encourage as many people as possible to make the transition from soft kit to full armour but it is not a requirement by any means. It is there for people who want to try it but there is no pressure to do so.

Fitness Level - Moderate to High. Anyone can wear amour. Fighting in it is requires a good level of strength and endurance.

What to Bring - Comfortable sports clothing (avoid clothes with metallic attachments or hoods). Groin Guard (Advised but not a necessity for beginners). A Drink (Water/Sports drink).

Cost - £5 per session for non members or £15 for a monthly membership which allows entry to all sessions at no extra cost.

Fun Level - 15/10 - A Knight to Remember!
